In this publication, the structure of the electron shells of atoms is considered on the basis of a physical theory that allows us to describe and calculate the properties of electrons and other elementary particles. The Theory of the Fundamental Field (TFF) of I.L. Gerlovin was chosen as such a theory. Therefore, we used the consent of the author of the TFF I.L. Gerlovin to write the first section of the monograph. The physical aspects of other sections were also considered with his active participation.
In the second section, the consequences of TFF related to the structure and properties of atomic nuclei are presented. The question of the electronic structure of atoms is substantially developed; it was shown that the use of hybridized wave functions leads to the forms of electron shells of atoms, which we previously obtained only on the basis of symmetry considerations and the application of the principle of minimal screening. The justification of the legitimacy of using such solutions of the Schrödinger equation is obtained on the basis of TFF.
In presenting the question of the electronic structure of crystals, it was possible to show that the main crystalline structures are closely related to the anisotropy cones of elementary particles considered in the first section. The number of analyzed polymorphic modifications of crystals has been noticeably increased, which, in addition to minerals, also includes some elements. The impressive result of these chapters is the striking coincidence of the angles of some characteristic directions in the crystals relative to the axis of symmetry with the angles of the anisotropy cones of elementary particles obtained theoretically in TFF.
